It's tough for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a side that has accomplished all there is.

That it took as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It is hard for their hitters to hold a record if not provided the opportunity.

In the end, the outcome of Australia giving up 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy getting an opportunity to deliver her most recent brilliance.

"A chance to go out there and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun in that aspect, sort of got me going," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 as she flogged anything short, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

Once she was dismissed the team needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm happy we have the confidence to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if necessary, we believe we can achieve it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship need to hear.

In recent days a sense they will win from any position has become more firm - this victory succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.
